Si bien se trata de una relaci\u00f3n que se intuye desde hace un tiempo, ahora un\u00a0<strong>estudio de Harvard<\/strong>\u00a0obtuvo conclusiones m\u00e1s directas entre la memoria y la actividad. A partir de un programa de ejercicio f\u00edsico moderado durante seis meses se comprob\u00f3 un aumento en las regiones cerebrales de los participantes del estudio.<\/p>\n<p>Entre otras capacidades, se mejoraron la memoria y el pensamiento. En medio de un contexto en que el\u00a0<strong>estr\u00e9s, la ansiedad<\/strong>\u00a0y la multitarea acrecientan los problemas de atenci\u00f3n, la capacidad de recordar y de enfocarse se vuelven claves. As\u00ed, los\u00a0<strong>cient\u00edficos de la Universidad de Harvard<\/strong>\u00a0mostraron, una vez m\u00e1s, c\u00f3mo el ejercicio es un gran aliado para fortalecer la memoria y potenciar las habilidades cognitivas.<\/p>\n<p>Con diversos beneficios probados, la\u00a0<strong>actividad f\u00edsica<\/strong>\u00a0tambi\u00e9n es \u00fatil para mantener el cerebro en forma. Lo hace al estimular cambios que promueven la formaci\u00f3n de nuevos vasos sangu\u00edneos y la salud de las c\u00e9lulas cerebrales. Seg\u00fan los\u00a0<strong>expertos de Harvard<\/strong>, \u00a0una de las mejores formas de ejercicio es simplemente caminar de manera habitual. Es decir, al menos tres veces por semana durante m\u00e1s de media hora. Aunque, claro, si hay alg\u00fan tipo de duda o impedimento siempre hay que consultar con el m\u00e9dico.<\/p>\n<p>Otro punto que se observ\u00f3 en el estudio es que las\u00a0<strong>caminatas<\/strong>\u00a0o cualquier tipo de ejercicio mejora el estado de \u00e1nimo, la calidad del sue\u00f1o. Adem\u00e1s, contribuye a reducir el estr\u00e9s y la ansiedad que son factores que pueden tener un gran impacto en la funci\u00f3n cognitiva. Por este motivo, diversos\u00a0 estudios respaldan la idea de que el ejercicio intenso puede proteger nuestro cerebro del envejecimiento.\u00a0<strong>Actividades como correr, na<\/strong>dar, andar en bicicleta o bailar demostraron generar efectos realmente positivos en nuestra capacidad de pensar y recordar.<\/p>\n<p>Hay que tener en cuenta que cuando se habla de\u00a0<strong>actividad f\u00edsica<\/strong> constante, los cient\u00edficos establecen un h\u00e1bito regular de unos 150 minutos por semana. Se trata de tomarlo tan seriamente como tomar un medicamento y de crear una rutina para poder disfrutarla y llevarla adelante sin postergaciones infinitas.
