En este d\u00eda se recuerda al profesor Jos\u00e9 Manuel Estrada, quien falleci\u00f3 el 17 de septiembre de 1894.<\/div>\n

La jornada sirve como oportunidad para reflexionar sobre la noble tarea de educar, dado que una persona puede ser profesor de diferentes disciplinas pero es, por encima de esa especialidad, un educador.<\/div>\n

Jos\u00e9 Manuel Estrada, adem\u00e1s de profesor fue historiador, orador, escritor, periodista y uno de los m\u00e1s destacados intelectuales de su \u00e9poca. A los 24 a\u00f1os inici\u00f3 su carrera en la docencia y en poco tiempo sus Lecciones de Historia de la Rep\u00fablica Argentina se transformaron en un libro.<\/div>\n
