estudio, cient\u00edficos estimaron el contenido de prebi\u00f3ticos de miles de tipos de alimentos utilizando literatura preexistente para averiguar cu\u00e1les son los que ofrecen el mayor contenido alrededor del 37% de los alimentos de la base de datos conten\u00edan prebi\u00f3ticos, en tanto los cinco seleccionados conten\u00edan las mayores cantidades \u2014entre 100 y 240 miligramos de prebi\u00f3ticos por gramo de alimento (mg\/g)\u2014. Otros alimentos ricos en prebi\u00f3ticos resultaron ser las cebollas a la crema, los caup\u00eds y los esp\u00e1rragos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"Links inline\">\u201cLos hallazgos de nuestra revisi\u00f3n preliminar de la literatura sugieren que\u00a0<b>las cebollas y los alimentos relacionados contienen m\u00faltiples formas de prebi\u00f3ticos<\/b>, lo que lleva a un mayor contenido total \u2014destac\u00f3 Boyd\u2014. M\u00faltiples formas de cebollas y alimentos relacionados aparecen en una variedad de platos tanto como saborizantes o ingredientes principales. Adem\u00e1s tiene el potencial de modular el movimiento del tubo digestivo para transportar los alimentos digeridos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"Links inline\">En el mismo trabajo, los investigadores concluyeron que\u00a0<b>los alimentos que contienen trigo ocupan los \u00faltimos puestos de la lista<\/b>, as\u00ed como que los alimentos con poco o ning\u00fan contenido prebi\u00f3tico son los productos l\u00e1cteos, los huevos, los aceites y las carnes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"Links inline\">Para el estudio, los investigadores utilizaron resultados cient\u00edficos publicados anteriormente para analizar el contenido en prebi\u00f3ticos de 8.690 alimentos incluidos en la Base de Datos de Alimentos y Nutrientes para Estudios Diet\u00e9ticos, un recurso que muchos cient\u00edficos utilizan para estudiar sobre nutrici\u00f3n y la salud.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"Links inline\">Los investigadores esperan que el estudio sirva de base para ayudar a otros cient\u00edficos a evaluar las repercusiones de los prebi\u00f3ticos en la salud e informar las futuras directrices diet\u00e9ticas.
