{"id":9290,"date":"2023-11-14T08:46:48","date_gmt":"2023-11-14T11:46:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nogoyatimes.com\/?p=9290"},"modified":"2023-11-14T08:46:48","modified_gmt":"2023-11-14T11:46:48","slug":"dia-mundial-de-la-diabetes-claves-para-prevenirla-en-la-alimentacion-diaria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nogoyatimes.com\/?p=9290","title":{"rendered":"D\u00eda Mundial de la Diabetes: claves para prevenirla en la alimentaci\u00f3n diaria"},"content":{"rendered":"<header>\n<section class=\"bajada\">Cada 14 de noviembre se celebra el D\u00eda Mundial de la Diabetes, una enfermedad que no muestra signos de disminuci\u00f3n y que, con la prevenci\u00f3n adecuada, buenos tratamientos y educaci\u00f3n a los pacientes puede controlarse satisfactoriamente.<\/section>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"redes\">Si no se controla puede provocar graves complicaciones e incluso la muerte. Por ello es tan importante dar a conocer las causas de la enfermedad, los s\u00edntomas y las posibles complicaciones, as\u00ed como los tratamientos. Se debe actuar a todos los niveles, desde los profesionales de la sanidad hasta los pacientes y sus familiares.<\/div>\n<div>\n<article class=\"cont-cuerpo\">\n<section class=\"texto\">\nEl D\u00eda Mundial de la Diabetes se celebra desde 1991, promovido por la Federaci\u00f3n Internacional de Diabetes (FID) y la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS), que crearon esta campa\u00f1a mundial ante el preocupante aumento en la incidencia de la diabetes alrededor del mundo.<\/p>\n<p>La fecha del 14 de noviembre se escogi\u00f3 porque coincide con el aniversario de nacimiento de Frederick Banting quien, junto con Charles Best, concibi\u00f3 la idea que les conducir\u00eda al descubrimiento de la insulina, en octubre de 1921.<br \/>\nEn 2007, Naciones Unidas celebr\u00f3 por primera vez este d\u00eda tras la aprobaci\u00f3n de la Resoluci\u00f3n en diciembre de 2006 del D\u00eda Mundial de la Diabetes.<\/p>\n<p>Lo m\u00e1s preocupante es que desde 1980 el n\u00famero de personas con diabetes en el mundo casi se ha cuadruplicado, sobre todo en los pa\u00edses de medios y bajos ingresos. Este peligroso aumento se debe en parte al aumento de personas con sobrepeso y obesidad y a la inactividad f\u00edsica en general.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan la\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/sadediabetes\/?hl=es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sociedad Argentina de Diabetes<\/a>\u00a0(SAD), se estima que entre 800 y 1.000 ni\u00f1as, ni\u00f1os y adolescentes son diagnosticados por a\u00f1o en Argentina con diabetes tipo 1, aquella que se suele detectar a edades tempranas y que se da cuando el p\u00e1ncreas no genera insulina. En este marco, advirtieron que en la actualidad hay tratamientos que permiten un mejor control de la patolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Se estima que la diabetes tipo 1 representa a 1 de cada 10 personas con diabetes en Argentina; esta patolog\u00eda puede afectar a personas de cualquier edad, pero normalmente se diagnostica en ni\u00f1os o adultos j\u00f3venes.<\/p>\n<p>Las personas que viven con este tipo de diabetes necesitan la administraci\u00f3n diaria de insulina para controlar sus niveles de glucosa en sangre; si no tienen acceso a la insulina su vida corre peligro.<\/p>\n<p>La diabetes tipo 2 es la m\u00e1s com\u00fan: representa el 90% de los diagn\u00f3sticos. Es m\u00e1s frecuente en personas con obesidad y sobrepeso. Antes, la padec\u00edan sobre todo los mayores de 40 a\u00f1os. Sin embargo, debido al incremento de la obesidad, el sedentarismo y la mala alimentaci\u00f3n, esta variante de la diabetes est\u00e1 aumentando en ni\u00f1os, adolescentes y adultos j\u00f3venes.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"embed\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/elonce-media.elonce.com\/fotos-nuevo\/2023\/11\/14\/o_1699953453.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" \/><\/figure>\n<h5>Claves para prevenir la diabetes en la alimentaci\u00f3n diaria<\/h5>\n<p>La Lic. en Nutrici\u00f3n Silvia Ju\u00e1rez (MN 1150), profesora de la Facultad de Ciencias Biom\u00e9dicas de la Universidad Austral, dio a conocer algunos consejos para prevenir la diabetes tipo 2, la m\u00e1s com\u00fan entre todas las diabetes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSi pod\u00e9s prevenir o retrasar la diabetes tipo 2, lograr\u00e1s disminuir los riesgos de tener afecciones en la vista, los ri\u00f1ones y\/o a nivel card\u00edaco\u201d, dijo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn caso de sobrepeso, es importante ponerse la meta de reducir entre el 5 y 10% del peso. Para esto, adem\u00e1s de evitar el sedentarismo y hacer ejercicio, existen algunas recomendaciones pr\u00e1cticas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><b>Los s\u00ed<\/b><br \/>\n&#8211; Aumentar el consumo de fibra vegetal: verduras y frutas frescas. Incluirlas en las 4 comidas.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Incorporar legumbres en granos enteros, como lentejas, garbanzos, porotos, brotes de soja y semillas.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Cereales integrales o sus harinas. Centeno o avena.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; L\u00e1cteos descremados, ricota, yogures, tofu.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Prote\u00ednas en pescados, carnes magras, blancas y rojas, y huevo.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Consumo moderado de grasas insaturadas: aceites vegetales, frutos secos, palta.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Aumentar el consumo de agua o de bebidas sin az\u00facar, por ejemplo, infusiones.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Gelatinas diet\u00e9ticas, dulces con edulcorante (consumo moderado).<\/p>\n<figure class=\"embed\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/elonce-media.elonce.com\/fotos-nuevo\/2020\/11\/11\/o_1605106565.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><b>Evitar o reducir (consultar siempre con el nutricionista):<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Verduras fuente de almid\u00f3n sin aporte de fibra vegetal (por ejemplo, papa y batata).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Harinas procesadas de legumbres.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Harinas refinadas y sus productos.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; L\u00e1cteos enteros, leche condensada, quesos duros, manteca.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Fiambres, embutidos, carnes de animales de caza.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Grasas saturadas o trans en productos procesados, aderezos, chips de copet\u00edn o productos de pasteler\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Jugos exprimidos de fruta o bebidas azucaradas.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Miel, dulces con alta concentraci\u00f3n de az\u00facares simples, golosinas.
